Supercat Studios was founded as a guitar school in Castlegar, British Columbia by Yanive Feiner. Yanive has been playing guitar for over 2 decades, playing in several bands . Having spent many hours in recording studios, there have always been visions of creating a studio of his own some day.

With such a love of playing and having taught guitar to friends and family over the years he finally decided to start teaching guitar in Castlegar. With a simple guitar lessons ad in the local news paper the phone immediately started to ring. With quick success there was a flood of several new students and the music in Castlegar flourished in a very short period of time.

Every year the students would play live shows and eventually Rock and Roll Boot Camp was filling the summer time with fun and exciting camps creating young rock stars for the summer.

At Supercat Studios we put the fun back into learning music. Whether you play guitar, bass, drums, piano or sing, we will make sure you have the best possible time in a relaxed and positive environment.

Always focusing on fun, students are totally in charge of the songs they want to learn, instant gratification is key to successful learning. When you play what you want, you will practice more, and its all about practice.

Acoustic, electric, country, metal, it doesn't matter, what you want is what you get.

What's the point of all the practice if you don't get to show off a little, or a lot.

Live shows are a regular part of Supercat Studios, from family pot luck dinner concerts to live outdoor gigs, you will surely get to strut your stuff on stage.

Students are placed in bands and get to rip it up front of a live audience and all their friends and family.
